Where is Malibu and how long does it take to get there?

We will be traveling to Vancouver, BC on professionally chartered buses, then From Vancouver, British Columbia; we will take the BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale Terminal, then up the Sunshine Coast to Egmont, BC. There, we will join with campers from other areas for a three-hour cruise on the Malibu Princess (Young Life’s own passenger boat) to The Malibu Club at the mouth of the world-renowned Princess Louisa Inlet.

** Students who have been to a YL High School Camp before - please read:**

We want to make sure we have space for all of our friends, old and new. 'Second Timers' who Register will be on a waitlist and asked to do two things:

  1. Sign up 3 new friends with a $100 deposit to join you at camp and submit those names below - friends claimed will be on a first come first serve basis.

  2. Meet to talk with their Leader as our Camp Lists begin to fill.

  3. This does not apply to a high school student who went to a WyldLife camp and wants to attend Malibu in 2024.

Our goal is that students get to experience YL camps with their leaders for ‘the best week of their life’ next summer!

What is Malibu?

Malibu is a Young Life camp 100 miles NW of Vancouver, British Columbia on the Princess Louisa Inlet and is accessible only by boat or seaplane.

What activities do they have at Malibu Club? What will you do all week at camp? Well, campers can go zipping into the Jervis Inlet with a friend on our zip line, get in 18 holes on our disc golf course, hoop it up on our full-length basketball court, dig out a great return on our sand volleyball court, soak up the sun poolside, rack ‘em up in the game room and so much more. When a break is needed, hit up the Totem Inn for a handmade shake or some nachos. Need a quieter place to talk and have a latte or mocha? Head to Hamilton's, Malibu Club’s own espresso bar. Want a t-shirt to remember your week at Malibu Club? Head over to the Totem Trader where you can purchase shirts, hats, sweatshirts, jewelry, Young Life stickers, water bottles, and many more souvenirs and gifts.

We never want money to be the reason a camper misses out on a camp trip. Payment plans and fundraisers are available. Talk with your leader or click below to find out more about fundraising opportunities. The current fundraiser available until November 5th, 2023 is our annual Christmas Wreath Fundraiser. Stay posted for more fundraisers to come.
